Summer Bible Study for Big People Starting July 18 after 9 am Saturday Mass, in the hall. Subject: Acts of the Apostles with Deacon Gerald & Virginia Smigell. What to Expect: Overview of the Acts of the Apostles and the historical and cultural background of the founding of the Church.  Special focus on the teaching of St. Paul. see bulletin for more information


Thursday Night Nocturnal Adoration

We have a sign-in book which will be placed in the back of the chapel. Topics:  What do we really need to know about prevention?  Understand the role of antioxidants in health, disease, and cancer.  Gain knowledge about nutrition and its importance for your life. K4J Summertime BLAST! Vacation Bible School Come and join the fun. Learn about our “Holy Heroes”, the Saints. We will have Games, Crafts, Music and, of course, Jesus. July 13–July 17 Time: 10:00-12:30 (Holy Mass at 9:00AM) Age: 3-11 Cost: $20 & $15 for each additional child  Registration: Pick up forms in vestibule 


Saturday, July 18, after the 9:00AM Holy Mass, we will begin cooking (and freezing) for the Festival. It will be an all day event; please look for the sign up sheet in the vestibule and sign up for what time best suits you. If you ever wanted to learn how to make pirohy, halubky, and other tasty Festival favorites now’s your chance. We will be cooking every Saturday up to the Festival. ATTENTION ALTAR BOYS All black cassocks and white albs 11 years old and older.  We are having an altar boy meeting on Saturday, July 25th at 7:00PM, after the Tridentine Mass. Please arrive at 6:45PM in the Gallery. The meeting should last until 8:00PM. Please call me with any questions at 248-340-2400.


An informative course in Gregorian Chant will be offered here in the Church on Tuesday evenings at 8:00PM beginning July 21. All ages are welcome.  The course will cover history, interpretation, and how to sing the Chant. One does not have to attend all Tuesday sessions in order to benefit from the class. Singles Mingle  Saturday, July 25th.  We will tour the lake on paddle boats and picnic on the beach!  Here is the plan: We will meet at the front doors of Ss. Family Fun Dance, on Friday, July 31, at Ss. Cyril & Methodius.  The doors will open at 6:00PM with the dancing starting at 6:30. Adults are asked to give a $10 donation, $5 for kids 12 and under,  and kids 3 and under are free. Families will pay a maximum of $35. All profits from the dance will be used by a group of nine members of the parish who will be going on a mission trip to Nicaragua in August.  see bulletin for more details
